Manifesto

We make objects that hold their silence.

A house is not a set of purchases. It is a sequence of rooms that have to agree: the cupboard that closes, the ceiling that stays quiet, the chair that is pushed back from the table. Kitchen, climate and furniture are one practice here because they answer the same brief — how a room should behave between fire and air, once it has been lived in for a decade.

So our forms stay low and our materials stay honest. We avoid ornament that dates, color that shouts across a room and hardware that asks to be admired. What is left is a mug that fits a shelf, a unit that leaves the wall alone, and a chair that is still worth sitting in after a summer outdoors.

Our craft

How we work

From a drawing to a loaded container.

  1. Design

Every object starts with a constraint — a shelf height, a ceiling void, a wall that will not take a duct — and is drawn to it rather than to a mood board.

  2. Make

Tools are cut in-house, first articles are measured against the drawing, and production is checked at the line rather than at the end of it.

  3. Deliver

Cartons are specified per market, documents are prepared alongside the shipment, and container loads are planned before the order leaves the floor.

For trade, project and press.

Ask for the line sheet, a sample schedule or a project quotation. We answer specification questions directly and send documentation with the drawing.
