Equal heads make sense when the rooms are equal. Two 18K units give the same capacity in both spaces, and the condenser shifts output between them according to demand. In an open-plan floor the pair can run together to pull a large volume down; at night only the occupied side runs, and the system turns down to match. That part-load behavior is where the efficiency figure comes from: a system that runs steadily at half output uses less than one that starts and stops at full. The heads can be run at different fan speeds as well as different temperatures, which keeps a bedroom quiet while the living room comes down to temperature.

The indoor heads are wall-mounted, which keeps the floor clear and makes service straightforward. Each has its own controller and its own filter, and the outdoor unit can sit on a wall bracket or a ground pad, subject to clearance and drainage. Line sets, condensate and a dedicated electrical circuit are detailed at the installation survey, not guessed at the quotation stage.

Two thousand square feet is a coverage figure, not a promise. A glass-walled room and a shaded one of the same size are different loads; the system is confirmed against a survey, and the model is selected once the rooms are measured. The installer signs off the setpoints room by room at handover.
