Collection 03 — Furniture

Furniture

Seating, storage and tables for rooms with weather in them.

This collection is made of two materials and the logic of each. A molded shell in recycled plastic can hold a curve, a seat and a shadow in a single piece; it tolerates weather, and one person can carry it. Powder-coated steel is stronger by volume and thinner in section, which lets storage be built from a few small cells rather than one large cabinet.

Those differences matter in a room. A shell chair is chosen for the outline it makes against a wall; a steel shelf is chosen for what it holds and how little floor it takes. We publish full dimensions, including seat height and depth, because a well-proportioned piece that will not clear a doorway is not well proportioned for you. The molded pieces are at home indoors and out; the steel shelving is made for interiors. Care follows the material, object by object. Finish samples are available for every piece, and the full dimension drawing is included in the line sheet.

A short guide

A short guide to furniture

  1. Measure the room and the route

Check swing space, door widths and stair turns before the chair or bench. A bench is longer than most people expect, and a lounge chair needs room behind it.

  2. Read the material honestly

Molded plastic shells are light and weather-stable; steel shelving is rigid and anchors to a wall. Choose the material for the environment before the finish.

  3. Treat care as a specification

Sun, salt and rain are normal conditions here. Rinse outdoor pieces seasonally, wipe steel with a damp cloth, and keep fill plugs fitted when the piece stands in wind.
